Privacy, in plain language.
This notice explains how VELOURLY handles information sent through business enquiries and how this website operates.

Who to contact
For privacy questions or requests, contact VELOURLY at velourly@proton.me.
What data we collect
If you email us, we receive the information you choose to provide, such as your name, work email, organisation, enquiry and any attachments. The contact form opens your email application; it does not send form content to this website.
Our hosting provider may process technical request information needed to serve and secure the site. If Cloudflare Web Analytics is enabled, its privacy-first beacon provides aggregate visit and performance information without analytics cookies or cross-site tracking.
Why we use it and lawful basis
We use enquiry details to respond, consider a potential partnership and manage related correspondence. Our expected lawful basis is legitimate interests in handling relevant business enquiries, or steps requested before a contract where applicable. We use technical data to deliver and protect the website. Any use for a different purpose will be assessed and explained first.
Who receives data
Email is handled by our mail provider, Proton. Website requests are handled by Cloudflare. We do not sell enquiry data. A partner or service provider receives information only when needed for an agreed project and subject to appropriate arrangements.
Retention
We retain enquiries only as long as needed to respond, evaluate a possible engagement and meet applicable obligations. If a project begins, records may be kept for its delivery and any legally required period. You can ask about or request deletion of your enquiry using the email above.
Cookies and analytics
This site has no advertising pixels or behavioural tracking. It stores a small local preference only if you dismiss the analytics notice. Cloudflare Web Analytics, if enabled by the site operator, does not use analytics cookies. Third-party hosting or your browser may still handle technically necessary information.
Your rights
Depending on applicable law, you may ask for access, correction, deletion, restriction or objection, or request a copy of your data. Contact us to make a request. You may also complain to the relevant data protection authority.
Changes
We may update this notice when our services or data practices change. The date above shows the latest version.
